Many building materials standards contain requirements for factory production control (FPC), which shall ensure a common understanding of quality assurance and allows to achieve required product characteristics and effective operation. Besides the following to product standards requirements, some manufacturing companies have been implemented quality management systems based on standard ISO 9001:2000. Brief analysis of FPC requirements of building glass, concrete and cement standards will be complemented with explanation of standard ISO 9001:2000 respective requirements, thereby allowing better understand way of integration of FPC and quality management system standards requirements. For companies which operate FPC compliant with product standards, explanation of FPC together with quality management system requirements, will allow to accomplish their quality assurance system.
