The authors of this research have focused on the modification of waste PC with certain inorganic and organic low and high molecular modifiers. Consequently, the effects of the used modifiers, on rheological, mechanical and calorimetric properties of the investigated hybrid composite systems have been investigated. PC from various sources - (1) primary commercial PC, (2) secondary PC, derived from post-consumer CD’s, (3) secondary PC with aluminium, derived from used CD’s, (4) secondary PC with aluminium intermediate derived from DVD’s - was used as a matrix for the investigated composite materials.
