The improvement of the industry technologies is aimed at the minimisation of the energy losses and hence the consumption of energy for heating industrial buildings may increase. Analysis is made of energy efficiency (EE) raising process in industrial buildings in order to work out a methodology for the EE management development. The low energy consumption in industrial buildings is connected with the energy of the technology located in the buildings, the development of the technology of its accumulation and utilisation. An important factor is heat accumulation during the time when the technologies are operating for the use of heat when it is necessary. The heat accumulation of the building structure is taken into consideration as well. As the main management method of raising the EE is developed a General Policy Assessment Methodology”. The aim of the investigation is to promote complete implementation the EU Directive 2006/32 EC in Latvia.
