Buckling behaviors of geometrically imperfect glass fiber reinforced plastic cylinders under axial compression loading are investigated. The geometrical imperfections have been assigned to the cylinder by subdividing cylinder in equivalent parts and inverse scaling every odd sector in radial direction. A metamodeling technique has been selected to study imperfection robustness versus load carrying capacity of the cylinder. The results confirm imperfection sensitivity over load carrying capacity.
