Titanium dioxide has found wide and important applications in many fields of chemical and materials engineering. Most of these applications are a consequence of its n-type semiconducting property. It is known that microstructural features of TiO2 have characteristic effects on its electrical properties. There has been an interest for ceramic electrodes material obtained from nonstoichiometric titania (TiO2-x) for water treatment applications. The aim of this work was to investigate the influence of high temperature treatment conditions in air and vacuum atmosphere on to the properties of ceramics obtained.
