Methods for modification of nucleosides enjoy a consistent attention in the communities of bioorganic and medicinal chemists. The demand for novel drugs and tools for exploration of nucleotide function are, to a large extent, the driving force for the research in this field. In last few years, our group has investigated the synthesis of purine nucleoside triazolyl derivatives and showed their fluorescent properties that have suggested the potential use in bioorganic chemistry. Herein, the results in deoxyribo- series are presented.
