Optimal Fuel Wood Modelling in Latvia Using MESAP Program

The authors of the paper review and analyse the theoretical, practically available and optimal potential of wood fuel in Latvia. The data will be used for the optimal wood usage model based on the assumption that in future wood should be used in modern technologies with high efficiency and that the share of low-value wood should be increased replacing currently used logs. The results serve as a basis for defining key aspects of wood usage strategy.
